About
My name is Alexa Young
Hello! My name is Lynn. I’m a Montessori trained educator with 24 years of experience working in public, private, and Montessori schools. I recently retired from being a head of school and am excited to take all that I have learned to create a supportive learning environment in my community. My approach is grounded in fostering inclusivity and meeting the needs of all abilities.
As a mother of two daughters, with a 12-year age gap, I’ve navigated parenting through many stages, from early childhood through the teen years. This has given me a deep understanding of the challenges and joys parents face at every stage of their child’s development. I’ve combined my experience in education and parenting to create a space where children can thrive, and parents can connect and support one another.
At Sprout Studios, I’m committed to offering enriching classes for all abilities, while also providing a welcoming environment where families can come together, share experiences, and build community.
